St Margaret's has been designed as a Championship Golf course and has already hosted 3 international tournaments.

It boasts big dramatic holes like the roller coaster 12th which rolls between two lakes and across a babbling brook to a majestically elevated green and seven of the par 4 holes are over 400yds long.

As well as the awesome struggles there are broad forgiving fairways, neat par threes and greens that play very true on this fascinating course. As you cross a stream on stepping stones, or step back to admire your second landing inches from the pin, you'll find more to admire every day in St. Margaret's. Ryder Cup star Sam Torrance praised the 18th as " the best finishing hole I have ever seen.. and probably the strongest and most exciting in the world."

The proverbial 19th hole at St. Margaret's is more than a resting place for well worn putters and improbable stories of chipping in from rough. As well as the welcoming bar and restaurant there are unrivalled views across the entire course. From Dublin: Make your way along the M1 to the main airport roundabout. Take the exit for Belfast and Swords (N1). Proceed past the Coachman's Inn for 200 yards to another roundabout and turn left. From here, St. Margaret's is about 7 km and very well sign posted.

From Other Locations: Make your way to the M50 and follow the signs toward the airport. Turn left at the Ashborne exit (N2) and proceed northwards up the Ashborne/Derry road. You will pass a driving range on the left hand side and a pub on the right hand side called the "White House". After approximately 200 yards you will come to a cross-roads where you will turn right for St. Margaret's. Follow this road until you come to a 'T' junction. Turn right and the entrance is about 30 yards on your left hand side.
