This Nick Bielenberg designed course, built as it is to the highest USGA standards, offers a challenge to the competitive golfer, whilst still managing to encourage the efforts of the more social player.

Compared already by many to the creations of Braid, and Mackenzie, the course starts gently enough as it skilfully meanders through this picturesque valley. As each hole passes the demands on the golfer increase ever so slightly. This design was meant to tease and to test in equal measure, and like a fine symphony it reaches a magnificent crescendo to finish. Why else would the designer test us so dramatically on the final 5 holes?

A course that has been chosen to host GUI events already in its short history, seems destined for more events in the future.

The South County enjoys a central location that is as easily accesible from Dublin as it is from its neighbouring counties of Wicklow, and Kildare.

The M50 is a few minutes drive from the course, and with the N81 (Dublin / Blessington) delivering golfers to its gates, this course surprises many with its nearness to many main traffic routes.

City West Business Park is only 5 miles from the course, and The K Club, PGA National, Tulfarris, and Rathsallagh are all within easy reach.
