Since its official opening in May 2001, Killerig Golf Club has very quickly earned a reputation for having some of the finest greens in Ireland.

Surrounded by a fabulous scenic hinterland landscape and framed on the west by the Killeshin Hills, the Killerig Resort presents a superb Par 72 Championship Golf Course at Killerig Cross, Carlow.

The course has been imaginatively designed by Des Smyth, assisted by Declan Branigan to create a most exciting and challenging golf experience in rich parkland reflecting the beauty of Carlow's panoramic landscape.

The course which is playable year round provides a stimulating game with water in play on 6 of its 18 USGA specifications greens.

From Dublin Airport: Take M50 as far as Red Cow Junction. Leave M50 at Junction 9 to follow signs for Limerick onto the N7. At junction 3 continue forward onto Naas Rd - N7 (signposted Limerick, The South). Continue forward onto the M7 motorway. Leave the M7 at junction 11, then join the M9 motorway (signposted Waterford, Kilkenny, Carlow). Continue forward on the M9 motorway. Leave the M9 motorway at Junction 4 (signposted Castledermot, Carlow). Exit left and continue into Castledermot village. In Castledermot, bear right  onto R418 (Tullow Road). Continue forward to Killerig Cross (Walshe's Pub is on your right). Continue forward and Killerig Resort is on the right.
