With our location on the outskirts of the city, just minutes from Dundrum, Rathfarnham and the M50, the club is within easy reach of any part of Dublin.

Since the foundation of the Club in 1976 the course has grown into one of the most respected and attractive golf venues in Dublin.  Padraig Harrington's input into the design of the course has resulted in a flexible 20-hole layout which provides a challenge for golfers of all skill levels. 

In addition to the usual locker room facilities, the clubhouse has a snooker room and a well-equipped gym.  However, the most impressive room in the clubhouse is the Padraig Harrington Trophy Room, where you can see memorabilia from his illustrious career, including his Major trophies.

A fully equipped Pro-Shop and a plentiful supply of buggies provide the novice and experienced golfer with all that is needed.  The recently installed state of the art Swing Room is a great addition to the amenities of the golf club. Featuring Trackman and other technology innovations, the Swing Room is the ideal place to hone your swing and get fitted for new golf clubs. You can also experience playing some of the world's most famous golf courses using this technology.

Visitors are always welcome at Stackstown where you will enjoy panoramic views of the city and Dublin Bay from the Skyline Bar & Restaurant in our newly refurbished clubhouse.  Stackstown always maintains a warm, friendly and lively atmosphere and is the perfect location for golf, a casual gathering of your friends, or indeed a business meeting. Whatever the reason for your visit, you will always get a welcome in Stackstown.

From the City:

Head towards Rathfarnham Village and from there straight past the Yellow House. Turn right at the next junction onto Grange Road. Stay on the Grange Road (you will pass the Eden Pub on the left hand side and Marlay park on your Right). Turn right at the next junction to stay on the Grange Road and at the next junction (College Road, Harold's Grange Road, Kellystown Road ) go straight onto Kellystown Road past Taylor's Three Rock Hotel. Drive under the motorway and the golf course is approximately ½ mile up this road on the right hand side.

From the South East (N11):

Turn left at the junction onto Leopardstown Road from the N11 at Newtownpark Avenue. At the roundabout near the racecourse take the exit for Sandyford (still Leopardstown Road). Stay on this road as it leads to Hillcrest Road, Blackglen Road and Harold's Grange Road. At the junction of Harold's Grange Road, College Road and Grange Road take a sharp left onto Kellystown Road. Drive under the motorway and the golf course is approximately ½ mile up this road on the right hand side.

From the M50:

Exit the motorway at the Ballinteer Exit (Exit 13) and head towards Rathfarnham. At the 3rd set of traffic lights turn left towards Leopardstown and Ticknock. 400metres up this road you will see Taylor's Three Rock Hotel almost in front of you. Drive up by the side of the hotel and under the motorway and the golf course is approximately ½ mile up this road on the right hand side.
