With sea views from all 18 holes, this enjoyable and challenging parkland course carries the prestigious Hawtree & Son design signature. With a Par 72 length of 6175 metres the course is always well maintained and offers an interesting variety of holes with the 14th played over the sea from a cliff promontory probably being the feature.

The modern Clubhouse, overlooking a private beach, assures visitors a warm welcome and has full bar and catering facilities. Professional John McDonald runs a well equipped shop with club, trolley and motorised buggy hire.

Attractive Wicklow Town with its harbour, pubs and restaurants, hotels and guesthouses, is just 3.5km along the coast, and is the ideal base from which to play Blainroe and other nearby courses.

From Dublin Airport: Take the M1 then follow M50 Southbound to the end of the M50. Follow signs Wexford onto the M11. Continue forward onto the N11. Turn left onto the R750 (signposted Wicklow) passing through Rathnew, through roundabout and towards Wicklow Town. Proceed through main street then follow signs for Brittas Bay on the coast road. Blainroe Golf Club is located 3.5km South of Wicklow Town on the Coast Road to Brittas Bay.
