Dublin City Golf Club
[Co. Dublin]
Located just eight 8 south west of Dublin City Centre, Dublin City Golf Club is set in the beautiful valley of Glen Na Smól (The valley of the thrush), overlooking lakes and the river Dodder.
The course was originally designed by the late Eddie Hackett, well known Irish golf architect, responsible for designing more golf courses in Ireland than any other, with redesign work by Frank Clarke, a well known and accomplished golfer and artist.
The course would be described as parkland and the layout has been dictated by the terrain. The designers have taken full advantage of the varied terrain and produced a great variety and very few parallel holes. Players will never get bored as there is a new challenge around every corner.
Clubhouse facilities include, changing rooms with showers, fully licensed bar and restaurant and function room facilities.
