Balcarrick was originally founded in 1972 under the name of Dublin & County Golf Club. The club changed its name in 1992 to Balcarrick Golf Club and moved to its current location. The course was initially designed by Barry Langan, recently re-developed by Roger Jones and is a magnificent and challenging 18 hole Par 73 golf course, measuring over 6800 yards. Each hole has it's own particular feature and proves a stern test for even the most accomplished golfer. Strategically placed bunkers and water hazards ensure that high levels of accuracy and skill are required to achieve a 'championship' score. Balcarrick is an ECO friendly club where tradition abounds.

Balcarrick golf club is situated overlooking the Malahide estuary and has been restyled by Roger Jones into a fabulous estuary type golf course. Evey hole has a different shape and the greens are the most consistant in the Dublin area. Water is a feature on 11 of the 18 holes, the par threes will test any class of golfer and par is not guaranteed. We in Craddockstown Golf Club are proud of what we have achieved during our short history. We have set out to deliver a top class golfing experience complemented by friendly and efficient service from our administrative bar and catering staff. We hope that your visit will be a memorable and enjoyable one. In March 1991, just under 100 pioneering members signed up and committed to the dream of owning their own course. The Committee bought 142 acre stud farm on the Blessington Road just outside the town of Naas and commissioned Arthur Spring to design an 18-hole golf course.

In 1992, the name of the club was formalised as Craddockstown Golf Club and in 1994 our original course was opened. In 1999, with membership and reputation growing the club opened its clubhouse. [More...]

Dromoland Castle Golf and Country Club has been in existence since 1962 and golf has been played for over 40 years over the lush rolling tree lined landscape that drains into Dromoland Lough with the Castle as a backdrop. In 2004, course architects, Ron Kirby and the late JB Carr teamed up again following their success at the Old Head of Kinsale - the result is nothing short of spectacular and places Dromoland Castle at the vanguard of "must play" golf destinations on the island of Ireland.

The par-72 course measures a not insignificant 6,824 yards from the back tees and actually plays even longer for a number of reasons. The first reason is that the course has a couple of short par 4s in the 298-yard 9th and 267-yard 15th. These two excellent holes demonstrate that added length is not required to tackle modern technology, as both demand a thoughtful tee shot to avoid the risk of running up a high score. Another factor that lengthens the layout is the use of dog-legs, well-placed bunkers, and fescue rough that places a premium on accuracy, making driver the less-than-optimum choice off several tees. [More...]

Grange Castle Golf Club was founded in 1998 and designed by Patrick F. Merrigan, the 18 hole championship course is regarded as one of the finest public golf courses in Ireland. Measuring 6,800 yards from the blue tees, the course is beautifully designed with seven lakes and a number of streams featuring throughout. Set amid the backdrop of the picturesque Dublin Mountains and located just ten minutes from the M50, Grange Castle provides golfers of all abilities with a truly testing and enjoyable golfing experience in a wonderful parkland setting.

The Par 72 course has been developed to championship standard. The greens have been developed to United States Golfing Association (USGA) specification and have been the subject of much praise from visiting golfers and societies since the course opened.

Hollywood Lakes Golf Club is located on the outskirts of Ballyboughal village, in North County Dublin. It lies within a 20 minute drive from Dublin Airport. Consequently, it is ideally located for golfers travelling from abroad.

Designed by Mel Flanagan, who made major improvements during 2002, this 18-hole parkland golf course measures 6707 yards from the championship tees including a 641 yard par 5 and comprises a par of 72. [More...]

Kilcock Golf Club is a championship standard 18-hole golf course located just 10 minutes outside Dublin. Our USGA standard course won the 2011 Association of Landscaping Contractors of Ireland Awards for best Sports Grounds.

Killeen golf course was designed in 1980. Since then the course has undergone many changes both in size and design to get it to the high USGA standard that it is at today.

With the purchase of extra land in 1990 the team of Tom Craddock and Pat Ruddy were brought in to completely redesign the layout. Further extensive work by Maurice Kelly and course builder Bernard Mullins in 1998 brought the course up to full Championship standard. Lucan Golf Club, founded in 1897, is located in the heart of the fast growing Dublin suburb. Originally situated in the "Moor of Meath", Lucan Golf Club moved to its present location, just outside the village, behind the Spa Hotel, in 1902. It is only eight miles from the centre of Dublin on the N4.

The club operated with a nine-hole course up until the extension to eighteen holes in 1988. The club prides itself in the quality of the course and continues to strive to make it a most enjoyable, but at the same time challenging, test for all who play it. When Jack Nicklaus was asked to design and build the 18-hole signature course at Mount Juliet, he created one of Europe’s most renowned courses. The outstanding parkland facility takes full advantage of the natural beauty of the estate, dominated by magnificent specimen trees and river scenery.

This testing par 72 course offers a most enjoyable golfing experience to players of all standards. Mount Juliet has hosted the Irish Open on three occasions and was the venue for the Shell Wonderful World of Golf event. At the WGC – American Express Championship 2002 at Mount Juliet, 49 of the top 50 golfers in the world took part, including overall winner, Tiger Woods. Oughterard Golf Club is an 18 Hole parkland course lined with mature native Irish trees, including Oak, Hazel and Birch. The course is best described as a Parklands course with traditional Limestone walls featuring throughout the course. It is an excellent test of golf, with numerous water features and sand bunkers that are strategically placed to protect the par of the course.

Facilities at Oughterard include a club bar with magnificent views of the course, the club restaurant which opens daily with an extensive menu and a Pro-shop stocked with leading brands and clubs for rental, in addition to trolleys and buggies. Rathbane Golf Course is a public 18 hole park land course located in the southern outskirts of Limerick City. The club offers the best value golf in Limerick City, a friendly welcome and a chance to meet local fellow golfers.

The course is owned by Limerick City Council and managed by Mack Trading Ltd. Associated with the course is a strong members club. The club consists of over 700 Men, Ladies and Juvenile members. It is affiliated with the Golfing Union of Ireland and The First Tee of Ireland. [More...]

The Ring of Kerry Golf & Country Club is located amidst the most stunning scenery imaginable. Overlooking beautiful and serene Kenmare Bay with the Kerry mountains providing a wonderful backdrop, the setting is surely one of the best in Ireland. The course itself has a challenging layout with dramatic elevation changes, plenty of very interesting holes and views that make it one of Ireland’s most scenic courses. Strictly speaking a Parkland course, it has a definite links feel, given its proximity to the bay and its sand-based fairways and greens.

Two of ‘The Ring’s’ signature holes lie on the back 9. Hole 13 is a 200+ yds Par 3 from an elevated tee which provides fabulous views of Kenmare Bay. The green slopes heavily from left to right and is protected by water. Par is a good score for this hole, which was recently voted 2nd in ‘Ten of the best views in British Isles golf’ by Today’s Golfer. Hole 14 is ‘The Ring’s’ number 1 index hole. A long par 4, it requires length and accuracy off the tee. The fairway narrows all the way to the green and is surrounded by trees with a huge bunker in front. Seapoint Golf Club opened in June 1993 and was designed by Des Smyth Associates', a combination of the Irish Tour Golfer Des Smyth and leading Irish Internationalist Declan Branigan.

The challenge begins from the first tee embarking onto a testing 7,150 yard, Par 72 course set on 260 acres of magnificent links land. There is an abundance of natural vegetation and wonderful dunes awaiting any errant shot. Every club in the bag is required to play this championship course. Celebrating their 125th anniversary in 2019,Tramore Golf Club, Co. Waterford is one of the oldest golf clubs in Ireland.

In 2006 the Club voted to work with internationally renowned golf course designer Jeff Howes to remodel the existing course, while preserving it’s integrity and to also create a new nine holes of similar quality. Beaverstown Golf Club presents golfers with one of the most unique challenges in modern golf.  It's design makes the best use of its many natural features - the shores of Rogerstown estuary in North County Dublin, 6 lakes, 36 acres of mature apple trees and a stream which meanders through the course.  The orchards, in fact, border the tees, fairways and undulating greens on 8 of the holes, while the streams and lakes come into play on 12 holes.

Of particular note is the 411-yard 14th hole.  Already acclaimed as a wonderful addition to the course, this newly-aligned par 4 is arguably the feature hole at Beaverstown. Only a well-hit drive will allow the player to reach the green with a medium iron over a menacing stream. A tall ash tree in the middle of the fairway puts a premium on accuracy while par is further protected by the orchard that surrounds the green on three sides.  As index five, the high-handicapper can safely lay up and a good chip could earn him/her a net birdie! [More...]

Bunclody Golf and Fishing Club is situated in 300 acres of breathtaking parklands in the former Hall-Dare Estate on the Carlow Wexford border.

The Index 1 hole 16th tee box sits on the bank of the River Slaney giving a glimpse of the green over 400 yards away, an accurate drive is required through the mature pines with a little draw to avoid the fairway bunkers, to compliment a good drive requires a well executed mid to long iron to the green which is part surrounded by the River, a par will be a memorable result. An elevator will take you from the 17th up 5 floors to the 18th tee box giving a bird’s eye view over the river as you ascend.

Opened in 1973 by Christopher Gaisford-St Lawrence of Howth Castle, the Deer Park 18-hole course made golfing history in Ireland by becoming the first privately owned course available to the public. Since then, the Fred Hawtree designed layout has given much enjoyment to golfers from Dublin and further afield for over four decades. The par 72 course with its generous fairways and beautifully maintained greens plays 6293 metres for Men and 4678 metres for Ladies, offering as much challenge as reward.

Druids Glen Golf Club opened in 1995 and hosted the Murphys Irish Open, Irelands premier golfing event and one of the richest on the European PGA tour from 1996 - 1999.

It has been host to professionals such as Ernie Els, Nick Faldo, Seve Ballesteros, Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie, Jose Maria Olazabal and John Daly and was the scene of Sergio Garcia`s first professional tour victory. [More...]

The 200 acre Faithlegg estate is situated just 7km (4 miles) from Waterford City in the heart of the sunny South East of Ireland. Designed by renowned Irish golf course architect Mr. Paddy Merrigan, the course carries Merrigan's familiar stamp of difficulty, undulating greens, water hazards and perfectly placed sand traps, all of which, complete and heighten the challenge which is "Faithlegg".

Designed by the legendary pairing of Mr. Pat Ruddy and Mr. Tom Craddock, the 18-hole championship golf course is presented in pristine condition all year long. The course boasts beautifully tree lined fairways, perfectly manicured greens and wonderful water features which meander throughout the course, offering golfers of all levels a most enjoyable golfing experience.

In acknowledging Seve's past golf achievements, the management at The Heritage have dedicated the golf course to his memory and it's now called 'The Ballesteros Course'.

In conjunction with the golf course's co-designer (Jeff Howes of Jeff Howes Golf Design), the club felt it important to remember Seve's involvement in the design process and in staging the Seve Trophy 2007. [More...]

The Patrick Merrigan designed Woodenbridge Golf Club is a Par 71 (72 for ladies) parkland course. The beautiful Avoca & Aughrim rivers come into play on no less than 10 holes, each providing unique challenges for players of all handicaps.
